Account Executive

Remote U.S.

The Account Executive role at JourneyApps is a full-cycle technical sales role (taking opportunities from the introductory meeting set up by a BDR, all the way through to closed deal), where you will be expected to use an analytical and highly consultative selling approach.

This role will require a great deal of effort, hard work and resourcefulness. A strong technical background is a must for this role, given the technical nature of our product. You will become an expert on our product, market space and competitive positioning. You will need to rapidly understand individual customers’ technology stacks and their technology priorities, to develop a compelling case for them to adopt JourneyApps, based on our unique benefits.

They should not be afraid to roll up their sleeves and go above-and-beyond to help us punch above our weight. The Account Executive role is very important to us — The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives.

Desired Skills, Experience and Attributes
  • 5+ years experience selling enterprise technology in a fast-paced and competitive market.
  • Technical background in engineering and/or software development. High technical aptitude and ability to understand and discuss a developer-focused product. Deep curiosity for the developer tool space. A deep understanding of how developers, engineers and their respective leaders evaluate and measure success.
  • A strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, based on five to six figure ARR average deal sizes. Proven track record in net-new customer acquisition.
  • Excellent instincts for conversing with IT executives highly professionally and ability to think on-the-fly. Excellent consultative sales technique and conceptualization skills. Ability to simply articulate intricate technologies.
  • Driven – a strong desire to be successful. Intellectual curiosity and high ambition.
  • Disciplined – skilled in managing time and resources; sound approach to qualifying opportunities.
  • Fluency in English along with excellent phone skills, phone etiquette, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

As soon as possible.


This position allows working remotely from anywhere in the continental U.S. (Lower 48). The company is headquartered in Denver, Colorado.
